# Fire and Rescue Personnel Recruitment: 2025 Jakarta PJLP Opportunities
The Jakarta Provincial Government, through the Department of Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat), has officially announced the opening of recruitment for Personal Other Service Providers (PJLP) to serve as Fire and Rescue personnel for the 2025 fiscal year. This initiative, authorized by the Secretary of the Region’s letter dated June 30, 2025, aims to bolster emergency response capabilities across the capital through the addition of specialized personnel.
## Regional Allocation of Positions
The recruitment process covers all administrative regions of Jakarta. Applicants must carefully select their preferred location, as multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification. The available vacancies are distributed as follows:
* West Jakarta: 202 positions
* Central Jakarta: 187 positions
* South Jakarta: 211 positions
* East Jakarta: 219 positions
* North Jakarta: 181 positions
## Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for these critical roles, candidates must meet both general and specialized criteria designed to ensure readiness for physically demanding emergency duties.
General Qualifications
* Citizenship & Age: Must be an Indonesian Citizen (WNI), preferably a Jakarta KTP holder, aged 18 to 30 years old.
* Documentation: Possession of a valid Tax Identification Number (NPWP) and active BPJS Kesehatan membership is mandatory.
* Application Essentials: Submission of a formal application letter, a comprehensive CV, two 4x6 photographs (red background), and a valid Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK).
* Health Compliance: Submission of an official health certificate from a government hospital or community health center (Puskesmas), confirming height, weight, and absence of color blindness.
* Professional Integrity: Applicants must sign a statement confirming they are not currently employed as PJLP elsewhere in the Jakarta Provincial Government, have never been terminated for contract violations, and do not seek permanent civil servant (ASN) status.
Specialized Physical Standards
Given the nature of firefighting and rescue operations, candidates must adhere to the following physical requirements:
* Gender: Male.
* Physical Stature: Minimum height of 165 cm.
* Health: Must be in excellent physical and mental health; color-blindness, tattoos, and piercings are strictly prohibited.
* Psychological Readiness: Candidates must demonstrate no fear of heights, darkness, or confined spaces.
* Physical Fitness: All candidates must pass a mandatory Physical Fitness/Endurance test (Kesamaptaan).
