## Career Opportunity: Junior WTP/WWTP Operator
PT TJB Power Services is currently seeking a highly motivated Junior WTP/WWTP Operator to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the seamless operation of critical water-related infrastructure, ensuring that environmental and efficiency standards are met at all times.
Primary Responsibilities
The Junior WTP/WWTP Operator performs essential monitoring and coordination tasks to maintain site integrity. Key duties include:
* Operating and managing facilities within the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), and Makeup Water Plant.
* Overseeing operations at the Electro-Chlorination Plant and Sea Water Intake area.
* Coordinating daily activities with the WTP/WWTP Control Room to ensure clear communication and operational efficiency.
* Monitoring systems to guarantee that all processes function safely and remain within prescribed technical parameters.
Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must demonstrate a blend of technical knowledge and operational readiness. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: A Diploma (D3) degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Conversion Engineering.
* Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience within a power plant operational environment; however, high-potential fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
* Technical Knowledge:
* Foundational understanding of water treatment systems and chemistry.
* Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, hydraulics, and bearing assemblies.
* Introductory proficiency in Control & Instrumentation (C&I) and electrical systems.
* Safety Standards: Familiarity with basic fire-fighting techniques and first-aid protocols.
* Language Skills: A functional command of professional English to support operational documentation and reporting.
