## Plant Operator Role Overview
As a Plant Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our production cycles. Your daily contributions ensure that our facility operates at peak performance while strictly adhering to safety and environmental standards.
Core Responsibilities
* Production Excellence: Execute refinery operations safely and consistently to meet established production targets.
* Operational Management: Manage both routine and emergency plant shutdowns, as well as complex start-up activities, strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Field Monitoring: Conduct rigorous inspections of equipment and operational conditions, document findings in log sheets, and proactively recommend necessary repairs.
* Compliance & Safety: Champion our Health, Safety, and Environment (K3L) policies by identifying and reporting potential hazards immediately.
* Workflow Execution: Coordinate with supervisors to fulfill operational requirements and ensure seamless plant functionality.
## Candidate Requirements
We are looking for individuals who possess a strong technical foundation and a drive for continuous improvement. To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: A Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
* Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a comparable role, preferably serving as a DCS Control Room Operator. Experience within the Oil & Gas industry is highly advantageous.
* Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and a high level of comfort with digital reporting tools.
* Language Skills: Strong command of the English language.
* Core Competencies: Ability to work autonomously, a clear focus on meeting targets, and a strong sense of personal integrity.
* Location: Candidates currently domiciled in Palembang are strongly preferred.
