## Program Pillars and Core Responsibilities
As a trainee, you will gain hands-on exposure to the multifaceted operations that define our success. Your development will be structured around several key domains:
1. Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE)
* Ensure full compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) mandates, Life Saving Rules, and Work Permit systems.
* Manage Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols during maintenance and operations.
* Engage in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) studies.
* Support site audits, toolbox talks, and comprehensive incident investigations.
2. Mill and Warehouse Operations
* Master the startup, operation, and shutdown procedures for all milling machinery.
* Guarantee compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP, OPRP, CCP, and traceability protocols.
* Oversee inventory logistics, including FIFO implementation, loading/unloading, and weighbridge calibration.
* Prepare daily Management Information System (MIS) reports to ensure operational transparency.
3. Quality Assurance and Sensory Evaluation
* Develop a deep understanding of coffee quality specifications, physical analysis, and sensory cupping.
* Participate in blending optimization strategies to drive cost efficiency.
* Maintain rigorous QA documentation to support FSSC 22000 certification and external audits.
4. Continuous Improvement and Engineering Projects
* Champion 5S, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Six Sigma initiatives to minimize waste.
* Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI to track operational KPIs.
* Assist in project scoping, timeline management (Gantt charts), and vendor coordination for engineering-focused initiatives.

* Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Food Engineering (or a related technical discipline).

* Analytical Skills: A solid understanding of mass balance principles and data reporting techniques.
* Language Proficiency: The ability to work and communicate effectively in professional English.
* Technical Savvy: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate knowledge of Power BI or a strong willingness to master data visualization tools is highly valued.
