## Position Overview: Laboratory Analyst
As a crucial member of the laboratory team, you will ensure that environmental standards, water quality benchmarks, and regulatory compliances are rigorously maintained across the entire industrial zone.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will encompass a diverse range of technical and administrative tasks designed to safeguard environmental integrity within the estate:
* Sample Collection & Extraction: Responsibly collect wastewater samples directly from the wastewater treatment plant managed by PT KIM.
* Comprehensive Water Analysis: Conduct thorough physical and chemical analyses of wastewater originating from both PT KIM's treatment facilities and industrial partners. Accurately evaluate clean water samples supplied by third parties and various tenant inlet points.
* Documentation & Reporting: Formulate precise analytical reports, manage chemical inventory intake and usage, and maintain detailed calibration logs.
* Equipment Maintenance: Ensure laboratory instruments remain in optimal condition by performing routine maintenance and executing internal calibrations.
* Regulatory Compliance: Prepare comprehensive reports destined for relevant governmental authorities, alongside routine daily and monthly operational logs.
* Cross-Functional Duties: Execute additional professional directives assigned by the Head of Department and Division Head.
## Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this competitive career opportunity, applicants must meet the following baseline educational and experiential criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) majoring in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
* Academic Achievement: A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.80 on a 4.00 scale.
* Professional Experience: Possession of at least 1 year of hands-on experience working as a Laboratory Analyst is strongly preferred.
* Core Technical Competencies:
* Comprehensive understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management.
* Proficiency in environmental impact analysis.
* Mastery of water sample collection methods and advanced analysis techniques.
* Strong foundation in Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) protocols.
* Demonstrated capability in operating specialized laboratory devices and tools.
