We are currently seeking dedicated professionals to join our operations team. As a Production Operator, you will be the eyes and ears of our facilities, ensuring that production remains safe, reliable, and efficient.
Core Responsibilities
To maintain our industry-leading safety and operational standards, you will be expected to:
* Operational Excellence: Operate production facilities strictly within established safety protocols and operating envelopes.
* Surveillance and Monitoring: Conduct daily field rounds to monitor parameters, recording all data accurately, and reporting any abnormalities to the Control Room or Lead Operator immediately.
* Emergency Response: Serve as a proactive member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) to mitigate risks to personnel, production, and the environment.
* Safety Compliance: Rigorously review work permits, verify isolations, demonstrate zero energy, and enforce strict adherence to Job Safety Analysis (JSA) requirements.
* Active Intervention: Possess the authority and responsibility to stop any work that deviates from established safety practices or regulations.
* Maintenance Support: Execute equipment isolation, purging, venting, and reinstatement processes to facilitate safe maintenance activities.
* Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels of critical chemicals and fuels, coordinating replenishments to ensure seamless production.
* Team Development: Participate in the review of operating procedures, lead weekly safety meetings, and contribute to the Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) process.
## Professional Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
* Education: A minimum of an Associate Degree (Diploma D3) or an equivalent technical background.
* Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in oil and gas processing or production operations.
* Skills: Proficiency in both written and spoken English, paired with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Personal Attributes: Demonstrable integrity, accountability, and the interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively within a high-stakes environment.
Preferred Expertise
* Comprehensive understanding of oil and gas processing workflows.
* Current safety certifications and successful completion of relevant competency assessments.
* Ambition to advance into roles such as Central Control Room (CCR) Operator or Lead Operator.
