## Application Process and Prerequisites
Qualified candidates are invited to submit their applications through our official online portal. Once an application is submitted, it will undergo an administrative review. Candidates who successfully pass the screening phase will be invited to sit for an English Proficiency Test and an Academic Potential Test (TPA).
* Testing Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:00 to 11:00 WIB.
* Location: BP-SDM Unit Office, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.
* Important Note: The test duration is three hours. Arrivals after 11:00 WIB or outside of scheduled days will not be processed.
* Exemptions: Applicants holding valid, recognized TKBI and TKDA certificates may be exempt from the internal testing process.
## General Requirements for Prospective Faculty
All applicants must adhere to the following professional and personal criteria:
* Citizenship & Faith: Must be an Indonesian citizen of the Islamic faith.
* Age Limits: Maximum 30 years for Master’s (S2) degree holders; maximum 40 years for Doctorate (S3) degree holders and Medical Specialists.
* Integrity: Must possess a clean criminal record as verified by an SKCK.
* Academic Excellence:
* Master’s Degree (S2): Minimum GPA of 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) with a maximum study duration of 3 years. Undergraduate GPA must be at least 3.25 within 5 years.
* Doctoral Degree (S3): Minimum Master’s GPA of 3.50 within 3 years; minimum Undergraduate GPA of 3.25 within 5 years. Must have publications in reputable international journals.
* Language Proficiency: A minimum TOEFL ITP score of 525, IELTS 5.5, or equivalent certifications.
* Health Standards: Applicants must be physically and mentally fit, and free from drug dependency, confirmed by official documentation from government-run hospitals upon final acceptance.
* Employment Status: Must not be currently bound by a contract with another institution.
